Shivae Studios Status Pre-Fall 2009 Report (20 Comments)
My daughter’s off to school! HURRAY!! Off to Kindergarten for a second year (We held her back, she could have gone to first grade, but we decided when we were given the option to have her repeat Kindergarten. She’s a July child, so she was a little behind the older kids, so instead of being in the bottom of First, we thought it better to be in the top of Kindergarten. 😀 This year.. she’s also not the shortest kid in the class, she’s one of the taller one, which says a lot for how much she grew over the summer. She went from 3% to 18% in height for her age – 18% of 6 year olds are her height. 😉 Now we have to work on her weight, which is -3% …. despite the fact she eats all day. Of course … she drinks nothing but water and prefers fruit, vegetables, yogurt and nuts to everything else.
Ok, on to the next part – I haven’t done anything here because I’ve been waiting to make sure it’s stable before making a lot of changes. This new system will allow you to register ONCE on Shivae.net and ONCE on Cyantian.net and post on all the comics. I will begin making more cosmetic changes and posts later – I will also be splitting off a separate ‘family’ blog with lots of pictures in the future. I will be cleaning out the posts without images and either deleting the posts, adding images or reposting them later after removing them.
Now, my plans for fall updating may not begin until October. I need to get more commissions out of the way (yes, I do have some that still need to be mailed that I am severely tardy on. 🙁 ) The following is my tentative plan, to begin in October.

Hi Tiff, Wow, what a list! My favourites are Legacy, Cafe Anime and Shivae – Caiden and Koel. I also love Vas, but it is not on the list. Anyway, that is my vote! Keep up the great work.
Can we vote for you just working on the “not changing” list (versus in addition to one or more from the “returning” list)? In my opinion, your comics are better when you’re not spreading yourself so thin. There’s time for you to do those stories after you’ve finished these.
If you meant just pick one comic from the whole list, my vote goes for Alien Dice.
*Snicker* “Time for school!” has been a parental cheer for a long time.

I definitely would love to see more of the Shivae! story. My next choice is Genoworks.

Feral is a story I’ve been working on for several years using the ‘typical escaped lab animals’ basis. 😉

I wouldn’t worry about your daughter’s weight too much. I’ve always been the tiniest even though I eat more than my friends combined. I’m 19 and still weigh under 100, but I’m not unhealthy.
People will say she’s cute, and as she gets older they’ll just say she’s lucky. lol
