The polling is over and Vas has won. I’ve already pencilled the first two pages, but will not likely update it until I have four completed pages as a buffer. It will be updating once a week.

No Angel came in second and I will be working on scripting for it in the mean time… some stories are going to end soon, like Caiden and Koel. Cler is technically completed. I will probably post a questionaire on Shivae! to see if there’s anything the readers would like me to cover. Caiden and Koel, Cler and Vas are all going to be self contained stories and there will be others.

You’ll notice that I’m concentrating on getting all the sites DONE, this time, before moving on to the other layouts. Cyantian.net will get this treatment next, then Alien Dice.

Site list has been moved to the right – I’m likely going to do all of them like that so it looks uniform.

NOW, please do NOT repeatedly ask me to work on something that is missing. Ask once. It takes quite a bit of time to do something even as simple as making navigational links. I have to think about what I’m going to do, then do it and make sure I have all the right images and links linked up.

Well – that did NOT go as planned. Tuesday night near midnight Kimberly, my daughter, was coughing very badly and running a really high fever, so we rushed her down to Children’s in Dallas where we stayed until she was discharged at 7:30 AM Wednesday morning. Needless to say … we all slept the rest of the day, with the knowledge that Swine Flu isn’t any worse than normal flu (except that normally … Kim doesn’t get the flu because she gets a shot. This year of course, it was too late.) She also has walking pneumonia.

This wasn’t a problem. Not at all. I had comics in partial states of completion due to stopping them to fix the sites as noted in the prior post. The problem is … this morning Kim’s cough got much worse and she was up to 103.6. While we were doing breathing treatments and medicating as instructed with two antibiotics and motrin/tylenol – things were not getting better. Went back to Children’s until we were released at 4 pm. This time with another new antibiotic.

They’re not really sure what it is she has, but are hoping this helps and we have instructions to rush back if anything else occurs that worries us. It takes a lot to ‘worry’ us and we’re trying to not overreact – but we also have a kid who’s had three heart surgeries.

So on to the comics – Pretty much done with Abby – I think I CAN get Alien Dice AND Akaelae both colored and will try to get the others done – but if Kim does have to return to the hospital over the weekend that wrecks the entire schedule.

I’m also not mailing packages right at this moment – until a few days after Kim’s no longer contagious. I don’t want to risk her sneezing or coughing on something as I’m packing it – and she’s six … so she forgets to cover her mouth a lot. :/
