Just a note that there won’t be an update today. Chevalier will return next Monday. (Lost my inking pen while in Tennessee for three days… wasn’t able to ink. :/ )

NEWS! Tiff and I are in the beginning process of bringing Chevalier to bookstore shelves starting this september.
Chevalier will be pubished as a three book hardcover fairy tale fantasy adventure children’s book series by First Run Publishing (www.firstrunpublishing.com). The first book “The Hither and Yon” will be out in september as mentioned.
As you an imagine Tiff and I are very excited about having Chevalier published. And can’t wait until september when it hits bookstore shelves. We’re going to take on The Gruffalo. LOL!

The update is halfway done, but it was probably the most complex update of the 7 pages of comics I did this weekend, so instead of rushing through it on Mother’s Day (I’ve been working all day today on comics when I should be enjoying my family, which I’m going to go do now and not think about money for a few hours), I’m going to hold it over until next week.
The complexity was only half the reason it wasn’t finished… the other half is that I’m doing a lot of extra work to pay the bills and feed people around here. 
I’ll likely be doing that again this week and yes, I do plan on compiling some pdfs for sale, which will be higher resolution than the standard web version, not print quality, but a larger screen quality.

This should be the last of missed weeks until March – when Spring Break happens. For those who don’t know, my husband gets the same breaks as my daughter does, so I have them home for the ENTIRE christmas break. Kim was really sick for three days and they basically wouldn’t leave me alone – so this week I’m just going to ignore them since all the Christmas Fun Stuff is over anyway.
