This is just a tiny fraction of what I’m working on right now and show off my sweet buns.
(I love peach buns)

It’s been a rough several months and I have one more before it gets nice and ‘relaxed’. Well, for ME, it’ll be relaxed.
So here’s the schedule change/update for the next few weeks so you don’t have to check back if something isn’t updating.
May 29-June 4 – Memorial Day weekend is this weekend and I want to spend at least Monday doing nothing but family stuff. Updates will go as scheduled, but the REST of the week is going to be split in half between work for A-kon and comic work. I’ll be working on Alien Dice and Abby’s Agency and Black Rose along with making a couple hundred pendants/working on commissions and making other items for A-kon. (I’m taking orders NOW and have limited copies of comics).
June 5 – June 11 – AD, Abby and Black Rose will update on schedule. Chevalier and Darius will not update. Like the prior week, I’ll be splitting my work time in half, preparing content for A-kon and working on commissions. I will be working on Chevalier and Darius.
June 10-12 – A-kon weekend! My last convention of the year!
June 12 – 18 – Recovering from A-kon, Chevalier and Darius will update on schedule and I’ll be working on comics on schedule.
My To Do List (I’m moving slowly, but I have not forgotten, and if I don’t list it here, feel free to poke me. Sometimes I do miss moving things from email to my to do list… or it didn’t sync right.:
In order of working – Things I owe to people:
Furthea’s commission #1 and #2
Campus Safari Group Commission
Talin’s Commissions, which are ongoing.
Nevix’s Commission/order to fill.
Budgieotter Drawing
Trio of Cute Card Badges
White Wolf Running
Other things to be done, so you know they’re in progress:
Compile all books for publication on Lulu and figure out how to translate them to the Nook/Ipad/Android markets. Old books will be $1.
Working on submission to Furrlough – have the ideas… just need to corner one.
Compile books for actual print that have not been printed.
Get caught up and stay caught up doing 8 projects at once.
I still have these to update:
Genoworks Saga
WAR
Danie

I always go into these things with the best intentions to update them, but then I forget. Right now, I’m almost caught up completely. I’m behind in scripting both Alien Dice AND Darius, mainly because the pen I was using so much ended up really hurting my fingers.
That is my Livescribe pen. The one that I got for a gift and absolutely LOVE. I’m considering replacing it with the new Echo version when it drops down to $100 or an Android type slate so it’s portable. The latter hasn’t come out cheap enough to consider and I won’t be buying until my tablet is paid off anyway.
Right now, devices I want to look at are the ASUS Transformer, because it has a 10″ screen and the HTC Flyer, because it has pen input. They’re both Honeycomb based machines. (I don’t have an Android device or even a phone of any kind beyond the landline.) Today, I heard Lenovo is going to enter the fray with a Honeycomb based device that is a mix of the Transformer and Flyer.
Bigger device, larger screen, pen input.
These things… make me reluctant to write scripts by hand using regular notebooks and pens. Some might think that it would be easy, but it’s not, because my biggest worry is LOSING my notebooks and not having any copies of them. I’ve lost notebooks.
I’m still looking for one… As for the Livescribe pen, I cut apart pencil grips and strapped them around the barrel with rubber bands so I can write with it! Makes it clunky and the pen is actually dying… another reason I’m reluctant to use the digital pen. :/ I was using it again for awhile after my hand got better, until the clock kept having to be reset.
I COULD type them into Onenote… but then what I’ve written in notebooks is out of sync and it makes them impossible to carry around with me. ![]()
I have AD scripts AND Darius scripts in notebooks – I just have to make myself write in them, which I will be doing tomorrow. This was more or less to get my thoughts in order on what I SHOULD do for now. Back to the notebooks until I can get an Echo. Typing scripts tends to cause me to not write as good as I can, because it’s too fast. That may be odd to some people who may think I WANT to type fast, but no, I don’t. Handwriting slows down my thought process to clearly think out what’s coming next. It’s a completely different process/element. Next year I’ll likely get an android tablet I can carry around with me and take to conventions.
